Why would I chose Rick vs. another DUI Attorney?
Cost, Rick is a one of the least expensive DUI attorney's out there. His experience in the last 20 years has established himself as one of the most successful DUI attorneys in Snohomish County.
Why is Rick's retainer fee so much less than other attorney's? There is that old saying, you get what you pay for.
For Rick, money is not really important, and really it is about the time it takes from beginning to the end of a DUI case for him to get a successful outcome. It doesn't seem fair to charge so much for DUI representation. He doesn't want to take advantage of someone when they are down. Just because they made a mistake, Rick doesn't feel like he should be the benefit of their mistake.
How will Rick fight for me?
Rick has experience in several aspects of the criminal justice system. He has worked for the department of corrections, and has many years of established relationships with prosecutors and judges.
What if I can't pay the retainer fee?
Rick is very flexible. Just let him know your situation, and he will be able to give you options.
What can I do now?
The most important thing that you can do once Rick is retained, is to notify the court of any address changes. They will be mailing court date information to the address on file, and if that is incorrect you might not receive the court date in a timely manner.
How long does the process take?
It really depends on the court and other factors, call Rick and will give you a better idea once he talks with you directly.
When I call Rick what will I hear from him?
Getting a DUI is not the end of the world. It truly is not as bad as you think it is. In most cases, you should be able to still keep your license and be able to drive.
What is the next step?
Once Rick is retained, we start working for you right away. We will obtain the police report, contact the court, prosecutor and any potential witnesses.
Do I have to attend the court date?
Yes, you are required to attend every court date. If you do not attend a court date, there could be serious consequences for not appearing in court.
Will Rick represent me at all of my court dates?
Rick will be present with you through the entire process. We want to assure you we take each case very seriously and see to it that your case will be handled with the utmost priority
I am really worried I don't understand the legal system.

It is Rick's job to worry about the legal system. Once hired the complexities of the legal system will be something you should not have to worry about.
