Tomorrow, Sunday June 27th 2021, Rick Merrill Law will pay for iced drinks at all Diedrich EspressoStands in Snohomish County.

This starts at 4:00 PM and will run for a limited time of 90 minutes. Ending at 5:30 pm.

The first time the temperature reaches 90 degrees, on the following day at 4pm Rick Merrill Law will pay for iced drinks for 90 minutes at all Diedrich Espresso Stands in Snohomish County!

The 2021 AquaSox Base Ball Season is set to begin in May.

Merrill Law has purchased 10 Diamond Seat Tickets for Charities to share in the Fun at Funko Field in the Everett Memorial Stadium. The seats are along the third base side of the stadium with a great view of the action.

Our Charities work hard to help people in many walks of life. We are teaming up to spread some joy and encouragement. Sometimes a day out at the game can provide a renewed outlook, help someone set new goals for themselves, or just relax and have a bit of fun.

Cookies for the Future

Each year the sales of Girl Scout cookies provide funds for great learning adventures, and other opportunities for girls.  

These Girl Scouts are learning a variety of valuable life skills while they are planning, setting up their sales pages, contacting the customers, delivering and reporting their sales of these delightful morsels.

The Girls Scouts did a terrific job of adjusting to sales with Covid restrictions.

Fun and Goals 

This year our girls came from Troops located in Arlington, Granite Falls, Edmonds, Everett, Maltby and Mill Creek.

We asked what their Favorite Girl Scout activities were and their answers included:

The Mountain Shadows camp, which is a two night trip with sing-alongs, crafts and sports. Going on field trips to the pumpkin patch, zoo and the fire station. Earning badges. Designing and sketching outfits, making ice cream, canoeing, animal tracking and other things like that. 

But at the heart of the matter, these Girl Scouts loved Camp, Camping, Camping! And more Camping!!

Our Girl Scouts Fundraising goals for this year.

• Troop is raising money to do a camping experience together, pending Covid restrictions. 
• Raising money to donate to an in-between shelter for kids removed from dangerous domestic situations.
• I hope to sell 200 boxes this year.
• Disneyland.
• To raise money for the community.
• We are raising money to help Cocoon House.
• Our troop wants to help local animal shelters and go on a troop horseback riding trip.
• Fundraising for camping and community service projects!
• My goal is to earn money for helping animals, like the girl scout horses. And also money for camping trips. I am trying to sell 350 boxes of cookies.
• Projects on saving the environment.,
• Saving our money for a big trip in a couple of years.
• My troop is going on their first trip to Disneyland.  
• We are also sending cookies to the troops overseas.

We are happy to help these Girl Scouts meet their goals and pursue their dreams.

Santa Visit 2020

As he is known to do, Santa tip toed in for a quick visit at Merrill Law.

With Covid in mind, he arrived without his reindeer or his favorite friend Jingles. He kept his distance as he checked out the holiday decorations to make sure we had joined the Holiday Spirit.

We all know that Santa has been a front runner in his use of Technology to keep tabs on all the Boys and Girls. So all these digital meetings might very well have been invented by one of his Elves.

He inspected our Zoom Room and gave it a thumbs up in approval.

Santa has agreed to let us host a special life sized photo booth. He has dispatched his sleigh to send us the specially made stand up cut out of himself, for our photo booth.

We will post a special note when it arrives, so that you can be part of the fun. Free “U-Take” photos with Santa Standee.
